Retreats & forest bathing

Forest time, online and in person

This is not a hike. You do not need fitness, gear, or experience — only a willingness to slow down and notice. Guided sessions help you come back to your senses, and to the quieter knowing that gets drowned out indoors.

Formats

  • Sīla's guidance has helped me access my physical senses and appreciatively explore my environment in consciousness-shifting ways. Her teaching sticks. Never before her instruction have I allowed my tongue to explore the taste of air, nor my cheek to be stroked tenderly by a leaf. Now it is daily practice. I reside in my body more consciously than I did before.

  • I would tell them that if they trust themselves enough to open up, it's going to be way more impactful than they're expecting. There were countless moments where I was amazed at what I was noticing. At multiple points I was thinking, I hope this doesn't end yet.

  • This experience was profound. This was a completely different way of experiencing and connecting to nature than anything I've done before. The fact that I had such a successful session in my own front yard speaks to the simple power of this practice, and I appreciated Sīla's grounded presence and gentle guidance throughout.

  • As a person living with chronic pain, during our session I experienced a rare moment of being present and connected with my body without trying to escape it. It helped me to slow down, and take an intentional moment to ground myself to the world with and in every sense.
